Dr. Jochen Fabritius was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1972. He studied industrial engineering with a focus on civil engineering at the University of Braunschweig, Germany, at Kellogg University in Evanston, USA, and at UBC in Vancouver, Canada. He obtained a doctorate from the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany.
He began his career at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company in 1999 and worked for 15 years for a range of clients in the construction industry, becoming a Partner in 2007. In 2014 he joined the German building and insulation materials company Xella as Chief Operating Officer responsible for Technology. From 2016 until 2020 he was CEO of the Xella Group. Dr. Jochen Fabritius was appointed CEO of the MBCC Group in October 2020. He is located at the company´s global headquarters in Mannheim, Germany.
Hendrik Heising was born in Germany, in 1972. After an apprenticeship, he studied Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, Germany and graduated in 1998.
He started his career with BASF in 1998 and worked in different businesses and functions of the Group. Hendrik Heising joined the Construction Chemicals division in 2017 as Vice President Global Controlling & Business Segment Management. He became Chief Financial Officer of the MBCC Group in 2020. In 2021 Hendrik Heising took over the newly established role as Chief Operating Officer and is based in the global headquarters in Mannheim, Germany.
Brian Denys was born in Canada, in 1971. He received a Business Degree from the University of Guelph in Canada and graduated in 1994.
He started his professional career in the Agricultural Products Group in 1994 and has held various positions at BASF in Canada, Germany and the United States. In 2011, Brian Denys took over the role as Vice President of the BASF North American Construction Systems business, and in 2017 became Senior Vice President of the Construction Chemicals business for North and South America. He was appointed President Americas of the MBCC Group in 2020 and is based in the regional headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Hicham Abel was born in Lebanon in 1974. He studied Power Engineering at Ecole Des Mines de Nantes and received his Ph.D. degree in 1998. In 2005, Dr. Hicham Abel received his second Ph.D. in International Relations and Diplomacy from the École des Hautes Études Internationales, CEDS, in France.
He started his professional career in 1998 as Project Manager at Swindon, UK. In 2017, Dr. Hicham Abel joined the BASF Group and took over the role as Senior Vice President for the Construction Chemicals business in Asia Pacific. At MBCC Group, he was appointed President of the Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific region (AMEAP) in November 2020.
